HAV offers a modern and multi-faceted take on conscious luxury. The carafe fits into a trend where we serve tap water to guests and cut away the unnecessary. In the remarkable shape of the carafe you can find the chest from the swan, while asymmetries add a special character to its form. The decoration on the bottom of the carafe is inspired by the fish that uses camouflage to protect itself from raptors above and predatory fish beneath, hence it appears darker seen from above and lighter on the abdomen. The scale pattern is sprayed by hand in a blue and greenish-black colour that melt together during the firing and result in an almost fog-like colour, resembling the morning mist. Repetition in the decoration adds a unique texture and tactility that can both be seen and felt and thereby provides it a function.
